     Five Balls in the Air
      Imagine life as a game in which you are throwing some five balls in the air. You name them -- work, family,health, friends and spirit, and you' re keeping all these balls in the air.
     You understand that work is a rubber ball. If you it,it will bounce back. But the other four balls are made of glass. If you one of these, it will be certainly scuffed,marked, nicked, damaged or n ashed. They will nr be the same. You must understand that and struggle for balance in your life. How?
     Don't lower your worth by comparing yourself to others.It is because we are different that each of us is special.Don' t set your goals by what other people deem important.Only you know what is best for you. Don't take for granted the things closest to your heart. Cling to them as you would to life, for without them, it's meaningless. Don't let life slip through your fingers by living in the past or in the ture. By living your life one day at a time, you live all the days of your life. Don't run through life so fast that you forget not only where you've been, but also where you' re going. Don't use time or words carelessly. Neither can be'retrid. Life is not a race, but a journey to be savored each step of the way.Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, and today is a gift. That's why we call it -- The Present.

    把生命想象成你向空中抛五只球的游戏。你把五只球命名为：工作、家庭、健康、朋友和精神，把所有这些球抛在空中。
    你知道工作是个橡皮球。如果你把它往下抛，它会反弹。但其他四只球是用玻璃做的，如果你把它往下扔，它必然受到磨损，出现碰撞的痕迹、有了裂口，被损坏甚至被摔得粉碎。他们永远不能恢复到最初状态。你必须理解这一点，在生命中尽力把五个方面摆平，但如何做呢?
    不要与他人比较从而贬低你自己。这是因为我们每个人都是不同的，都有特别之处。不要把别人认为是重要的事作为你的目标。只有你自己知道什么最适合你。不要将最亲近你的事当作理所当然的事。你要像拥抱生命一样拥抱它们，因为没有它们，生命就没有意义。不要只生活在过去或未来从而让生命从你手指间溜走。认真过好一天所有时间，你就认真度过了生命中的所有日子。不要活得太过匆忙，不然你不仅不知你身在何处，而且不知你将去何方。不要随意运用时间和言语。这两项永不可恢复。生命不是比赛，而是每一步都需要认真品味的旅程。昨天已成历史，明天还未可知，今天才是一份礼物。这就是为什么我们把今天称之为礼物的原因。
