In the ancient time, Fan's family as destroyed by others. So a man t to Fan's house and tried to steal something. He sa a big bell in the courtyard. The bell as so beautil. He liked it very much, and he anted to get it. Because the bell as too big and heavy, he could not move it. He thought there as only one ay to solve the problem. He had to break the bell into pieces. The thief found a big hammer, and he struck the bell. It produced very loud sound. The sound made the thief felt frightened. The thief thought it as too bad. Others ould kno that he as stealing the bell. He tried to stop the sound ith his arms. But it as useless. He felt and frightened and covered his ears firmly hard ith his hands. The sound became much lo er. He immediately got some odd bits of cloth, and had his ears plugged ith the t o cloth rolls. He thought that in this ay nobody could hear the sound of the bell. So he struck the bell again. The sound as louder. Many people heard it, and the thief as caught as a result checked.
